should school start at 9????
School should start at 9 because many student are tired through the first 2 hours until they are awake enough to learn. Other student are able to wake up with no problem but other can not. That's why i think school should start at 9 am because student would be ready and most likely awake. Also by 9 people are usually up on there own.

I disagree becuase it would be the students fault if they knew that they can sleep in and deside to stay up late. If i knew i had school at 9 i would still keep the same sleeping routine so therefore it is the student that is responsible for there actions of stay up late. Side: School start at 9

it is better for your body to be able to function and work properly during the day plus as growing young adults sleep helps you grow so thats a big part. Plus when you get a job you will have to work during the day and unless you work at a 24 hour service office then you would work 3rd shift thats the only time you would need to stay up late. Also in college you have 8am classes till 3pm unless you choose to take classes in the afternoon because thats when the teacher has the class available. Side: School not start at 9

school shouldn't start at 9 i think this because of the fact that it would change the whole schedule of how your day already works and most people would also see it as oh i don't have to be at school as early anymore so they are just going to stay up even later than they already were. Why would you want to mess with something that is working perfectly fine. I don't think it is the best idea in the world to change something that has been working fine for years Side: School not start at 9
I agree with matthew because in reality if school started any earlier than it does now, kids will be staying up later since school won't start for an hour later than what they are used to, then we will get people who complain that school still starts to early for them because they were up to late and it will completely ruin the whole system and it will just go back to school starting at 7:45 which i think most people are ok with. I agree with matt, he has some really good ideas for this debate. School has been fine the way it is, kids are just babies and whine about not being able to get up. yes they should change the time but not 9am maybe 8am and an hour lunch open campus. Side: School not start at 9
No, cause it would end later and then the day would be gone and it would be dark when we get out because the days are shorter with day light and everyone has sports after school so they would get back even later and then they would stay up later and have to sleep in. Which is really unhealthy for you and effects you as a human and your growth. Side: School not start at 9
